Kaestrings, born Kingsley Innocent Owoicho-Oche, is a Nigerian gospel singer, songwriter, worship minister, and recording artist known for his heartfelt worship, inspiring lyrics, and unique blend of contemporary gospel with African sounds. His music has touched countless lives, drawing listeners into deeper intimacy with God through sincere expressions of worship and faith.
Originally from Benue State, Nigeria, Kaestrings belongs to the Idoma ethnic group. Although his roots are in Benue, he was raised in Zaria, Kaduna State, where he spent most of his formative years. Growing up in northern Nigeria exposed him to diverse cultures and languages, particularly Hausa, which has greatly influenced both his personality and musical expression.
Kaestrings attended Ahmadu Bello University (ABU), Zaria, where he studied Fine Arts. During his time at the university, he actively developed his musical gifts and worship ministry, laying the foundation for the impactful gospel career he enjoys today. His background in the arts is reflected in the creativity, authenticity, and excellence that characterize his music and ministry.
Known for his warm vocals and deeply reflective songwriting, Kaestrings has become one of the respected voices in contemporary Nigerian gospel music.
